Nikki Anderson joined Cause Capacity in 2026 as an Administrative & Operations Specialist. With more than 15 years of experience spanning nonprofit fundraising, executive support, research, and operations, she brings a thoughtful, resourceful approach to helping mission-driven organizations turn complex needs into clear, actionable plans.

Throughout her career, Nikki has supported senior leaders, managed high-volume scheduled and competing priorities, coordinated events and stakeholder engagement, and developed systems that keep information and projects moving forward. As Director of Development at The University of Texas at Austin, she managed relationships with more than 150 prospective donors and helped generate over $725,000 in annual philanthropic support. Her background also include public-sector executive support and research analysis, where she learned to anticipate needs, navigate ambiguity, and translate detailed information into practical next steps.

Nikki is especially energized by identifying gaps, improving processes, and creating structure that allows people and organizations to focus more fully on their mission. She combines operational thinking with strong relationship-building skills nad is known for being proactive, adaptable, and willing to jump in wherever she can add value.

She holds a Bachelor of Public Administration from Texas State University. Nikki lives in the Austin area with her husband, their three sons, and two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering in her children's schools, supporting community fundraising efforts, working on home and design projects, and spending time with her family-- often from the sidelines of one of her sons' many sporting events.
