Rachel joined Cause Capacity in 2022 as a Recruiting + HR Specialist supporting clients’ recruitment needs. Rachel has over 8 years of recruiting and management experience and has held positions ranging from recruiting to team leadership and program management. 

 

Rachel earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of South Florida and a Master of Arts in Education from Pepperdine University. She worked in recruiting during college before spending 8 years as a high school science teacher in the Los Angeles area. Rachel enjoyed teaching and mentoring her students and seeing many overcome adversities to achieve their dreams. When she changed careers, her passion for helping people remained her driving force.

 

Rachel spent five years at a Recruitment Process Outsourcing company supporting hiring for a Fortune 50 telecommunications company. After starting as a recruiter, she earned several promotions and was known for her strengths in: recruiting, training recruiters, and building and maintaining client relationships.  She spearheaded initiatives to improve recruiting processes and team operations. After the birth of her son, she enjoyed several years as a stay-at-home mom before joining Cause Capacity. 

 

Rachel and her family live in a suburb of Austin. She loves being outdoors; when she’s not working or playing with her son, she enjoys walking around her neighborhood, watching deer in her front yard, and taking her family to her favorite trails.
