Sarah joined Cause Capacity in 2025 as an HR Business Partner, bringing a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to supporting individuals and organizations. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and French from Trinity University and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University.

With nearly a decade of experience in the Human Services sector, Sarah worked in both direct service and leadership roles, where she developed a passion for empowering people and fostering inclusive environments. Transitioning into Human Resources after starting a family, Sarah has dedicated the last seven years to helping small businesses build strong, people-centric HR frameworks.

Sarah has successfully managed all aspects of human resources for growing organizations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. She holds the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation, underscoring her commitment to professional development in the HR field. Sarah thrives on creating efficiencies and driving positive change through HR practices that prioritize both business success and employee well-being. She is passionate about aligning people strategies with organizational goals to cultivate a supportive, high-performance culture.

 

Sarah lives in Richmond, Virginia with her husband and two young daughters. Outside of work, she loves traveling, cooking, and baking.
